Entered God's loving arms on January 4, 2023, age 79. Beloved husband of Carol for 54 years. Devoted father of Jeff (Sheri) Sammer and Jamie (Trevor) Thome. Cherished grandfather and "PaPa" of Corey, Londyn and Loa. Preceded in death by his parents, Adolph and Hedwig Sammer and his sister, June Rasmussen. Survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws, other relatives and friends. Retired science teacher of MPS. People were touched by his kindness and selflessness. His sense of humor will be missed by all. Gathering at the Funeral Home, Wednesday, January 11, 10-1145AM. Memorial service 12PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to East Troy Manor who took care of him as if he were family.
