What We Do

The WHSASF’s purpose is to foster the tradition of the academic excellence and achievement at Washington High School for the benefit of current and future students. We do this by:

• Soliciting and raising funding from alumni, friends, and associates of the school through direct contributions and events
• Granting financial assistance through scholarships to worthy WHS students so that they may pursue additional education or training
• Providing financial support for various Washington High School programs that lead to academic success

In addition to its scholarship activity, the WHSASF also:

• Honors WHS alumni periodically through induction into the WHS Alumni Hall of Fame
• Sponsors activities annually to bring alumni together with students in some meaningful educational manner
