Committee Descriptions - DRAFT

Scholarship Committee

Solicits, reviews and selects recipients annually.  Committee activity takes place between September and June.

Program Committee

Assists in planning and preparation of programs (such as the annual luncheon).  This includes mailings, creating name tags, securing auction and raffle items, and room set-up.  Committee activity is high between January and June.

Hall of Fame Committee

Solicits applicants, reviews and selects inductees, and plans the induction ceremony.  Committee is active every 3 to 5 years.  During a selection year, activity is distributed throughout the year

History Committee

Assists with managing the alumni room at WHS, researches the history of the building and key programs such as the arts, sports, etc., provides presentations of graduates for events such as the Hall of Fame induction and the luncheon and responds to requests from local media markets for information about the school and /or alums.  Committee is active throughout the year depending on programs and media requests.

Digital Presence Committee

Manages the marketing of The Foundation via social media, website and print.
