A dear friend and an amazing person who lived her life fully. We miss her terribly. A little more from her obituary: "Rita dedicated her life to understanding the natural healing process and believed that union with nature and non-attachment to any particular outcome was the key to physical and mental health. She became a Naturopathic Doctor (ND) in 1988 and opened a successful practice until her cancer was diagnosed. Her inner strength allowed her to remain vibrant and vital with remarkable grace and fortitude throughout her 19-year illness. "Rita loved nature but more than that was her love for people. For every person that Rita encountered, she created a connection. She lived her life authentically and passionately."
