Brian Silkey Obituary
Silkey, Brian E. Born Feb. 5, 1957. Youngest son of Frank and Margaret Silkey of Milwaukee found peace on September 3, 2011, with his Lord. Brian resided in Victoria, Texas since his marriage to Lynn Mack in December 1978. Attended Washington High School and he loved his boat on Pewaukee Lake. Waterskiing was freedom!! Brian nurtured Creative Construction into a well respected and valued small business and He will be missed by his customers, as he always put them first. He gave moral/financial support to anyone who needed it. He spent a lot of time in the Methodist Memorial Transplant Center, San Antonio, TX. Brian appreciated the staff's kindness and skills and care during countless visits, the many weeks of family visits and stays, the numerous visitors, cards and gifts. They all brought a thoughtful smile to Brian's face! Brian handled His years of illness with much mutual love and respect, compliance of care that he taught a lot of us dignified ways of living with a deadly diease. His Mother and Brother and especially his wife, Lynn provided such devotion and dignity thru the end of days, it shall be Admired...Forever. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 24, at the Wauwatosa Presbyterian Church, 2366 N. 80th Street in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Time of the service is 1:00 PM. "O Brother Where Alt thou"....We miss thee !! Brian is preceded in death by Allen Irvin Silkey. Brian is survived by his wife Lynn Mack Silkey, parents Frank and Margaret Silkey Milwaukee. WI, brother Randall Frank Silkey Sr. of Victoria, TX, sisters Sandy and Monica Kennedy (Sean). Uncle of nephews Andrew and Christopher, and niece Holly Kennedy, West Allis, WI. Uncle of Nick Silkey (Wendy), and grandnephews, Noah James, twins Madeline Eleanor and Liam Brian Silkey, West Haven, CT; nephews Nathan Doye and Alexander Corbin Silkey, Victoria, TX; nephews Ryan and Justin Silkey, Milwaukee, WI. All of whom Brian loved deeply and always he kept the highest hopes for and greatest wishes for their each and every success though-out their life.
