Michael Taft

Friday, June 20, 2025 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of the late Denise Taft. Loving father of Shawn (Tina), Nancy (Michael) and step-children AJ (Dani), Heather (Chris). Proud grandpa of Aedan, Madison, Lilly, Anna, Siena, Connor, Anora, and Ainsley. Caring brother of Diane and John. Preceded in death by his parents George and Doreen; siblings Reg, Kath and Chris.

Mike served his country in the United States Army in Vietnam. He retired after 35 years of service from the Boy Scouts of America. Mike was a long time volunteer at Irish Fest. He greatly enjoyed listening to Irish music and drinking Irish Whiskey. Mike had a big personality and was known as being larger than life. A very social man, Mike made friends everywhere he went and always had a joke for you. The amount of wisdom that he passed on to his family and friends can not be calculated.

Visitation SATURDAY, August 23, 2025 at the Funeral Home from 11 AM to 1 PM. Memorial Service at 1 PM. Military Honors and Committal Service Monday, August 25 at 11 AM at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 21731 Spring St, Union Grove.
