Brother of Terri (the late John) Burggraf and Rosemary (the late Dave) Burdon. Brother-in-law of Beth (the late Sewell) Greely, Rosie (the late Jack) Popeck, the late Anna Mae (the late Art) Scheel, the late Irene (the late Bob) Hoffmann, the late Jack (the late Ann) Smith, the late Jim (June) Smith, the late Art Smith, and the late Leo Smith. Cousin of Nancy Braun and Kim Ridl.

Preceded in death by his mother Theresa Didier Newton, his step-father Ralph and his brother Teddy Jacques, niece Barbara Lorenzen and nephews Christopher Popeck and RJ Sharlein. Also loved by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews of the Burdon, McElligot, Hebner, Lorenzen, Marx, Kempen, Hoffmann, Smith, Greely and Popeck families; other relatives and friends.
