Holz, Nancy Lee (nee Heiser) died peacefully on April 3, 2017, at age 78. Predeceased by her parents, Walter and Esther Heiser, and her sister, Janice Heiser, she is survived by her husband of nearly 55 years, Harry Holz, three children, Pamela (Christopher) Rupright, Bradley Holz and Erika (Kyle) Pond, as well as six grandchildren, David and Emily Rupright, Justin, Ryan, Margaret and Lauren Pond, who were her pride and joy. Nancy was a lifelong resident of Wisconsin and received her teaching degree from the University of Wisconsin Madison where she joined Kappa Delta sorority and in which she remained an active member throughout her life. Nancy was a lifelong teacher, first as an elementary school teacher at Dunwood School in Fox Point, later as a long time substitute teacher at the University School of Milwaukee, and as a tutor at Literacy Services of Wisconsin. Nancy was also an active participant in the Elm Grove community, especially the Elm Grove Woman's Club, Dow Janes Investment Club and the Western Racquet Club, where she formed many cherished friendships. Nancy was an avid baker, enjoyed gardening, and cheering for Wisconsin sports teams. Mostly, Nancy will be remembered by her devoted friends and family for her optimism, quiet strength, generosity and concern for others. Nancy's grace in all areas of her life will always be remembered by those who knew and loved her. Visitation with the family will take place at the Funeral Home on Saturday, April 8th from 3 to 6 PM. A funeral service will take place on Sunday, April 9th, at 2:30 pm at First Congregational Church in Wauwatosa. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to First Congregational Church, Wauwatosa or the .
