Armin C. Ondrejka

Leawood, KS - Armin C. Ondrejka, 94, of Leawood, KS (50 year former resident of Whitefish Bay, WI), passed away peacefully on August 31, 2020. Armin was proud of his service in World War II where he served in the Army. He then went to work at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for 40 years, starting as a paper boy. Armin's greatest enjoyment was singing barbershop harmony for over 60 years. His quartet, The Hi Brows, brought joy and laughter to hundreds of people. In retirement, he and his wife Marge, were able to travel the world. He participated in the Honor Flight to Washington, DC. His greatest pleasure was caring for his grandchildren. He also loved the Packers, old fashioneds, and fish frys. Armin is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Marge, son Rob (Patti), grandchildren Brian and Kristin (Brad) Rice and great grandson Theo, who brought such joy to his life. Also survived by his brother Ron (Valerie) Ondrejka, brother-in-law Robert Dufek and niece Laura (Matt) St. John. A private family service was held.
