Diane Dallman (Quirk) - Class Of 1956

Quirk, Diane B. Of Waukesha. Beloved wife and mother, Diane died peacefully in her home, Friday, November 30, 2012, at the age of 75, after losing a courageous and dignified battle with breast cancer. A Milwaukee native she attended Washington High School graduating in 1956. While in high school, she met the love of her life, William Daniel Quirk and joined him in marriage in 1959. Diane devoted her life to her husband, children and grandchildren. She was a devout Christian with a passion for her community and country. As a long-time member of conservative organizations, she spent decades working tirelessly to protect family values and preserve a future for the country she loved. She spent her free time with her husband, children and grandchildren, enjoying the company of dear friends, crafting and gardening when the season allowed. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, William Daniel Quirk, her two children Robert William Quirk and Cheryl Lynn Graziano (husband Jim Graziano), her grandchildren Robin Quirk Matthews (husband Jared Matthews), Tyler Quirk, Hannah Quirk, Daniel Graziano, Matthew Graziano, her great grandson Jack Murphy Matthews, her sister Kathleen Mickler, brother-in-law Ken Wendt, Four nieces, one nephew and their families. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Anita Dallman, her brother-in-law John Mickler and sister-in-law Jean Wendt. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 4, at the funeral home from 4PM until time of funeral service at 7PM. Private interment will be held at Wisconsin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to the Milwaukee Rescue Mission.
