Jackie was an accomplished artist and a beautiful person and my friend since we were 13 years old... She will be missed by me and many others from the class..

Laschen, Jacklyn G. (Nee Hackenbruch ) Age 79. Passed away peacefully March 26, 2016 after a long, courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. Beloved mother of Julia (Steven) Karides and Jennifer Laschen. Dear friend and wife of Terry Laschen. Devoted sister of Carol Hackenbruch. Further survived by family and friends. After graduating from Washington High School, Jackie maintained many lifelong friendships with her classmates. Through the years, she was a hostess at many of Milwaukee's fine dining restaurants and immensely enjoyed her co-workers and customers. A talented artist, Jackie's greatest joy and legacy was her artwork. Her paintings have been shown in the Milwaukee area and have touched and brought enjoyment to many. A memorial gathering will be held at the funeral home on Friday, April 1, 2016 from 11 AM to 1 PM. Memorial service 1 PM. Memorial donations may be sent to The American Parkinson's Disease Association (APDA).
