Ray Bergholz - Class Of 1938 VIEW PROFILE

Bergholz, Raymond W. Found peace Friday, September 5, 2008, age 89. Beloved husband of June (nee Hansen), for 63 years. Proud father of the late Robert (Janell), Richard (Susan) and Randall. Loving grandfather of Michelle (Shane) Frazier, Jennifer (Brandon) Roberts, Jessie (Ed) Kileen, Amylia Grace, Rachel (Ross) Gagliano and Andrew (Megan) Bergholz. Great-grandfather of 11 adoring great-grandchildren. Also loved by other relatives and friends. Ray's greatest professional achievement was as founder of TAPCO-Traffic and Parking Control Co. Inc., started in Ray's basement over 50 years ago. TAPCO is a true example of the American dream. TAPCO has grown from a small sales office to a third generation family run business, that employs over 120 people in the transportation industry. Ray was an honored member of the Sales and Marketing Executives Association, past president of the Council of Independent Managers and colleague to many in the State Department of Transportation. Ray also was a member of the American Legion Post #449, in tribute to his military service in the United States Army during World War II. Ray was an amazing business man, wonderful father and revered grandfather, but his greatest personal achievement was his marriage of 63 years to his loving wife, June. He was an enthusiastic member of his neighborhood "Dirty Dozen" and an active member of Our Redeemer Church. A special thank you to Ray's devoted caregivers Judy, Sharon, Maurice, Fumi and Connie for their tireless care and attention. Memorials appreciated to the Bergholz Family Fund.
