Youth Works Milwaukee

The Youth Works Milwaukee (MKE) program is a new initiative geared to link teens at risk of criminal involvement with subsidized jobs and supportive services including mentoring, social emotional learning, increased employment skills and positive engagement, while preventing participation in criminal and delinquent activities.  WHS is among the schools that have this program for young African American males.

Justin Roby who is the leader of this program at WHS is looking for some male mentors who are WHS alums.   Sessions will be held once each month throughout this 2017-2018 school year except December from 5:30pm - 7:30pm.  The next session is noted in the announcement on our homepage

There are no qualifications to mentor outside of being a man as the program is geared to all boys.  We just ask that all mentors come with an open mind and willingness to engage our youth.

If you are interested, please contact Justin Roby <justinr@boysgirlsclubs.org> as soon as possible to take advantage of this opportunity.
