MSgt Myron Tejada Resident of Union City MSgt Myron Tejada, age 81 passed away on August 21, 2012, following a prolonged illness. Myron was born on June 4, 1931 in Niles District of Fremont Ca. He was raised in Union City and graduated Washington High School. Following high school, Myron enlisted in the Air Force, completing aircraft mechanic training at Lackland Air Force Base, TX, and was stationed at Milwaukee, Wi, and Terra Huate, IN, before returning to California. Myron joined the 129th in 1956 and spent 30 years with the unit. Myron married his wife Lucy, on November 5, 1960, at Our Lady Of the Rosary Church in Union City - the same church he was baptized in as an infant. Myron and Lucy have three children Marla, Ilyce, and Myron; and two grandsons: Gabriel Jimenez and Colton Taylor-Tejada. Services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 703 ST. Union City CA 94587.
