Ethel Frances Frater (nee Wegner), age 86 of Saxeville, passed away Saturday morning, December 17, 2011 at Crystal River Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Waupaca.

Ethel was raised in Milwaukee, and was a graduate of Washington High School.  She graduated from the Milwaukee State Teacher's College in 1946, and continued her education at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1964 to receive her elementary certification.

She taught science at Washington HS in Milwaukee for 5 years prior to her marriage.
