Seymour Stein - Class Of 1958 VIEW PROFILE

Stein, Seymour Passed away Jan. 23 at the age of 100 ½ +38 days. After graduating from Marquette University in accounting, he married his high school sweetheart, Sylvia (nee Pack). In addition to managing several local businesses, Seymour worked together with Sylvia for 30 years in their own income tax business. A member of the JCC Men's Club, he loved the monthly lox lunch and continued to attend at his ripe age. He enjoyed travel, golf, crossword puzzles, bridge and other games. He was the first grandfather to be awarded a 'red tie,' for his participation in his grandson's Boy Scout Troop activities. Seymour was known to some as the "Candyman," because he selected and ordered the candy for the Froedtert Hospital gift shop where he volunteered. He also enjoyed his volunteer work at Milw. Public Television. He is survived by daughter, Nancy (Larry) Klein; son, Mark (Phyllis) Stein of Santa Monica, CA; grandson, Damien (Mary) Stein and 2 great-granddaughters, Eva Claire Stein and Casey Irene Stein of NY, NY; as well as granddaughter, Shannon Stein, and 2 great-grand dogs, Peanut Butter and Oliver, of Brentwood, CA. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, Jan. 27, AT THE FUNERAL HOME. Burial to follow at Spring Hill Cemetery, 166 S. Hawley Ct., Milw.
