Paul Doll was one of the brightest, funniest, and most talented friend I ever had. As so many of our generation, he struggled with his gayness, and died of AIDS. He lived in New Orleans where he was a restauranteur. He is missed.
Paul was a unique talent whom I first met in Playground Trailer Theatre when we were both twelve.
He was a skilled actor, clever artist, great cook and an organizer of many outings. He was invaluable in the mounting of Tonia Toppers "61 and a well spring of ideas on all projects.
Before going into the resturant business, Paul was a teacher of TV production at he University of
Ilinois, and Tulane University in New Orleans. He had many devoted friends in both Milwaukee and

Paul Doll was several years ahead of me at Washington. I remember him well as an actor from the old Porter Players at JCC.
