KENT SCHOLTEN

May 31, 1947 - March 21, 2018

Age 70 of Tempe, Arizona passed on March 21, 2018. He was born on May 31, 1947 in Milwaukee, WI. The son of George and Viola (nee Krahn) Scholten. He was preceded in death by his father George Scholten, mother Viola Scholten, and his sister Sandra Foster. He met his fiancee Margaret Moulton in Stone Bank, WI. Their loving partnership lasted over 40 years. Kent is survived by his fiancee, Margaret Moulton of Tempe, AZ, niece, Laura Foster Schultz of Antioch, IL, and nephew, Robert Foster of IL. 

After graduation from Washington High School in 1965, he attended Milwaukee Layton School of Art on a scholarship. Kent worked as a railroad engineer for the Milwaukee Road for 17 years. He was a fourth-generation accomplished engineer in the railroad enterprise. He enjoyed building and remodeling homes, restoring classic vintage Chevy/Ford trucks, Lincolns, and Corvettes while living in Arizona for 36 years. 

Burial at 11:00 a.m. at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield on March 31, 2018. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Humane Society of Wisconsin.
