Loren was known to many as “Big Ron.” Loren worked for Patrick Cudahy and Monarch Tile. While working for Monarch Tile he got he got his famous cut on his hand, but that didn’t stop Loren from using his talents and skills. He latter worked for Payne & Dolan and the Milwaukee Public School System. Loren accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at a very young age. He became very active in his church, Antioch Missionary Baptist Church and he was an original member. He later joined Victory Missionary Baptist Church were he served in various ministries and as a deacon, which served diligently and with honor until his transition.

Loren loved spending time with his family and enjoyed treaching his daughters and granddaughter, Harper everything they needed to know about life. He was always there to help his family and friends. 

Loren is preceded in death by his parents, John and Bessie Rushing, unofficial adoptive mother Carol Jones, his cousin Todd Ayers and Brother-in-Law, Earnel Nash.

 

Loren leaves to cherish his children, Kayla and Chloe, grand daughter Harper, 7 Siblings - John Calvin (Darlene) Rushing, Merry Jo Nash, Lydia Rushing, Lemuel Rushing, Lawrence (Sarita) Rushing, and Tracey Rushing, a special friend, Latresha Robinson, his ex-wife, Stephanie who remained friends after their divorce and host of other relatives, members of Victory Missionary Baptist Church and other friends.
