I met Donald while working at Central Library in downtown Milwaukee. We didn't start dating until we met up again during my Freshman year at UWM in 1977. We were married in 1980, a marriage that lasted 17 years. We had two incredible children, Heather and Michael. They are as good looking as their dad, and just as creative, intelligent, and hilarious.
Donald worked at Nackie Paper Company for 10 years before enrolling in MATC's culinary arts program. He won silver and gold medals while competing at the National Restaurant Association Show. He received his degree and worked as a Chef, as well as catering special events for friends and family. Our daughter has inherited her dad's culinary talents.
Donald died too early, at age 46. He is loved and missed by everyone in our family.
