Poe, Irene M. (Nee Rohlinger ) Passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at the age of 66 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Preceded in death by her husband Berry, parents Clarence and Erna and sister Elaine Rohlinger. Loving mother of Marie (Thomas) Rohne. Dearest Oma of Nikolas, Hans, Fritz and Heidi. Dear sister of Mae (Joe) Sazama and Claire (the late Robert) Johnson. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Irene was proud of her volunteer work, being a volunteer leader with the Girl Scouts, an active parishioner of her Church, and also an avid gardener and crafter. She was a very active member and musician of Spielmannszug Milwaukee Drum & Bugle Corps, and a 38 year retiree of Miller Brewing Co. Visitation Thursday, May 19 at 4:30 PM at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 5400 W. Washington Blvd., followed by the Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 6:30 PM. Entombment Friday, May 20 at 11 AM at Holy Cross Cemetery, 7301 W. Nash St. (Please meet at the cemetery gate). In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorials to Spielmannszug Milwaukee are suggested.
