Vilski, Kathleen "Kathy" (Nee Schuerger ) On November 13 Jesus reached down, took Kathy in His merciful hands, wiped away her tears and gently cradled her body so broken and ravaged by kidney disease. Triumphantly, Jesus took his faithful servant Kathy through the gates of paradise. There the myriad hosts of angels and saints, including her parents Leo and Irene Schuerger, warmly welcomed her into their midst. Waiting to join that heavenly chorus are her husband Miles Vilski, Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special thanks to the medical staff at Froedtert Hospital for their many years of providing Kathy extra care and comfort. Kathy had just recently celebrated her 40th anniversary of a kidney transplant. Parts of Kathy's body were donated to Froedtert Hospital for transplant research. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 21 at Holy Apostles Parish, New Berlin (16000 W. National Ave.) from 9 AM until the celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin or Holy Apostles Parish.

Dan J. Rasinske (1963)
On November 13, 2015 Kathy Schuerger (Vilski) passed away following a life-long battle with kidney disease. Kathy was one of the longest surviving kidney transplant patients in the state of Wisconsin. Last September she celebrated the 40th anniversary of her successful transplant. She was my only first cousin and was much loved by both family and friends. She is very much missed by all. God bless you, Kathy.
