James died December 3, 2010 from cancer. After completing high school, James graduated with a BA degree from UWM in Political Science.  He received his Juris Doctorus from Marquette. He also received a Master of Laws from Loyola-Chicago.  James was a practicing attorney in Milwaukee over 30 years.  James was married with two children.  He kept in touch with many classmates from Washington HS - he had fond memories of his school days especially his time playing in the band.
