Milo R Grabow - Class Of 1959

GRABOW, Milo R., of Plant City, FL went home to be the Lord on September 6, 2012 following a courageous battle with PSP. Born in Oshkosh, WI, he was raised in Milwaukee and graduated from Washington High School in 1959. Milo studied mechanical engineering at Marquette University before moving to California, where he met and married Irma Jones Grabow in 1967. They moved to Tampa, FL in 1968 where they raised their children Wayne and Leah. Milo retired as an electrical engineer from Safeline Mettler Toledo in September 2009. He is survived by his brother Glen Grabow of IN; son Wayne Gabriel (Kellie) of Zephyrhills; daughter Leah Dixon (Todd) of Plant City; grandsons Spencer, Tyler & Rob, and a large extended family. Milo was a giving, thoughtful man who loved people and was a born problem-solver who liked to work with his hands. The family wishes to thank everyone at Patty's House ALF and the nurses, staff & volunteers at LifePath Hospice for their tender, loving care. A memorial service will be held at Haught Funeral Home in Plant City (813)717-9300 on Monday September 10th at 6:30 pm.
