Paulsen, Alice J. (Née Heineman) Found peace on Tuesday, September 17, 2013, age 73. Now re-united with her parents Harold and Lee Heineman and sister Susan. Alice is survived by her "true love" of 53 years, Larry. Loving mother of Wendy (Mats) Petersson, Holly (Jeff) Jenkins, and Bob (Kristin) Paulsen. Special grandma of Gus, Josie, Nick, Sarah, Sam, Quinn, and Simone. Sister of Bill Heineman. Also loved by other family and many, many friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home Saturday, September 21, 2:00-4:45 PM. Funeral Service 5:00 PM. Refreshments to follow. Private burial Wisconsin Memorial Park. Alice was highly regarded in the tennis community, having won hundreds of tournaments locally, around the state, and regionally. She at one time held the number one position in Wisconsin women's doubles as well as a national ranking. A member of Moorland Tennis Club for over 40 years, she remained strong and competitive to the end. She lived a wonderful life and was loved by many. Please join us to celebrate her life and recognize the positive influence that will endure through all of us. Life is precious and fragile. Please give those you love an extra hug today.
