Barbara M. Loberg

Minneapolis, MN - Barbara M. Loberg, 82, died Friday, April 2nd in Minneapolis.

Barb was born in Milwaukee to Elmer and Edna (Erhardt) Kollath. She graduated Washington High School and earned degrees at UWM and Cardinal Stritch University. Barbara was very proud to earn her Ph.D. in Health Services in 1998. A longtime resident of Whitefish Bay, she went on to work as a med tech at Columbia Hospital. In her retirement Barb enjoyed reading newspapers and was especially interested in helping create educational opportunities for underserved populations through service on the boards of her alma maters. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Kenneth; her two daughters, Karin (David) and Kirsten; and her four grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Kingo Lutheran Church, Shorewood.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Cardinal Stritch University or Alpha-1 Foundation.
