Paul E. Menzel

October 23, 1937 - May 28, 2017

Of Hartland. Passed on May 28, 2017 surrounded by love. Dearly loved husband of Bonnie (nee Seaborn) Menzel for 53 years, cherished and devoted father of Elizabeth (Scott) Kusko, and Melissa (Christopher) Grow; loving and proud grandpa of Alexander Grow, Madeline Consiglio, Matthew Consiglio and Landon Kusko. Brother of Charlotte (the late Roy) Roggenbach, Marilyn (the late Robert) Wellsfry. Brother in law of Merry (the late Robert) Scheer.

Paul was a life long Christian Scientist and a member of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Brookfield. He spent his entire business career in banking. Starting at First Wisconsin National Bank as a teller, he went on to become President of Independence Bank Wauwatosa, President of Wauwatosa State Bank and founder of RidgeStone Bank, Brookfield serving as President, CEO and Chairman. He served on the boards of numerous businesses and institutions and was an Army veteran. He attended UW-M and graduated from Concordia and Rutgers University.

Most important in Paul’s life were his family and his church. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather setting an example of honesty, principle and integrity. Paul was generous beyond measure and his love was unconditional. He was a dedicated and grateful supporter of his church.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive in Brookfield, Wisconsin.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM. The service will follow at 3:00 PM.

Memorials may be given to First Church of Christ, Scientist, Brookfield and Clearview Home Corporation, Delafield.
