Joyce Prodehl (Schultz) - Class Of 1956

Joyce A. Schultz (Nee Prodehl),

Of Milwaukee, WI passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 22, 2018. She was surrounded by her loving family who prayed with her before being welcomed to our heavenly Father. She was born on October 29, 1938 in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late LeRoy and Cecilia (Prodehl). Married the love of her life Donald C. Schultz on October 12, 1957 and was a devoted wife and dearest friend of 61 years. She was born the second of five children to wonderful German and Bohemian parents in the Milwaukee area. She graduated from Washington High School. Growing up she attended St. Ann’s Catholic Church and was married there. Joyce was an avid reader and you could catch her at the library on a weekly basis. She also loved to volunteer for most of the lakefront festivals and Visit Milwaukee. She loved to attend any sporting event for her grandchildren and would brave the cold and rain to do so.

Joyce valued family above all else and dedicated her life to her husband and raising her six children Linda (Greg) Schmidt, Michael (Cindy) Schultz, Glenn (Denise) Schultz, Joseph (Jennifer) Schultz, Jennifer Redding, Jason (Lindsay) Schultz. She is further survived by her siblings, Janet (Bill) Schnepf, Karen Vozar, Kathy (Ron) Hamilton, and Richard (Barbara) Prodehl. Proud Grandmother to, Joshua, Aaron, Nicholas, Adrienne, Emily Elliott, Justin, Adam, Thomas, Charlie, Zachary, Alyssa, Quentin, Evan, Sydney, Brady and Aidan. Adoring Great-Grandmother to Jaden, PJ, Avery, Caleb, Samantha and Derek. Also survived by several wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins and very special friends.

Memorial Gathering Monday, December 3, from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM at HOLY CROSS LUTHERAN CHURCH, W156 N8131 Pilgrim Road, Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin 53051, with a service of celebration at 6:00 PM with reception to follow.
