Irving H. Hansen “Irv”
Irv was preceded in death by his loving wife; Patricia (Nee Jaworski), parents, Irving and Evelyn Hansen Sr (Nee Brandt). He is survived by daughter, Evelyn Lila Hansen and her son: Alik Hansen, 26 and by a Son: Irving Raymond Hansen, his wife Amy, his stepson Austin, 26, and stepdaughter Ericka, 24, He was an incredibly giving person, was loved by many and will be dearly missed. Further survived by other relatives and friends,

Visitation on Sunday January 30 at Harder Funeral home from 1:00 to 4:00 PM followed by the McKinley Lodge #309 F&M Masonic Lodge service and funeral service at 4:00 PM. Family and friends can meet at the funeral home on Monday January 31, at 10:45 for 11:00 AM procession to Forest Home Cemetery for committal prayers.


He graduated from Washington High School and continued his education at UW - Madison for one year and then transferred to UWM where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Finance. He served in the 101st Airborne in the Army and was stationed in Korea after the war. He worked in banking and was president of M&I Northern (originally West Suburban) and chairman of the Board of Directors for over 30 years until he retired.

He enjoyed participating in any sport and could frequently be found supporting all Wisconsin sports teams especially the Green Bay Packers. He was an avid hunter and world traveler and never forgot a name or face. He had perfect attendance at the Elmbrook Rotary Club until it disbanded. He was involved in the Masons and participated in multiple community fundraising events and was inducted into the Milwaukee Kickers Hall of Fame for his involvement in fundraising for the current indoor/outdoor soccer park.

Though he didn't show it to many, he had an incredibly warm and loving heart. He was a man of his word and much respected by his clients and friends.

The family would like to extend their most heartfelt thanks to Amada Senior Care, with particular thanks to Steven, Theresa, Christine, and Jennifer and to the staff at Aurora at Home Hospice, especially Marcie, Jill, and Keyanna, for the wonderful care and support they provided. In lieu of flowers, family asks that donations be made to the Aurora Health at Home Hospice program in his memory or to the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society - another cause dear to his heart.
