Dr Jordan "Jordy" M Weigler - Class Of 1955

Weigler, Jordan June 10, 2013, age 76 years, of Milwaukee, WI. Jordy attended Washington High School, the University of Wisconsin and graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1960. He served as a Captain in the Air Force at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia. He did his training for Oral and Maxillofacial surgery in Boston and New York City. He and his wife of 52 years, Patti (Miller) returned to Milwaukee to start their family and his practice, Oral Surgery Associates, with offices in Cudahy, Milwaukee and Brookfield. He is survived by Patti, his son Steven (Wendy), Denver, Colorado, his daughters Amy Hoffman, Scottsdale, AZ and Debbie (Aaron) Bernstein, Milwaukee. He adored his four grandchildren, Radley, Ariel, Noah and Max. He is further survived by his sister Roz Levin, his sister-in-law, Audrey Laufman, his brothers-in-law, Joel (Linda) Miller and Monte (Karen) Miller and 22 nieces and nephews. He was Adjunct Professor of Oral Pathology at Marquette, served in many capacities for the Milwaukee Dental Association and was President of the Wisconsin Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He was honored by the Jewish National Fund, was a member of the King David Society of Israel Bonds, a member of Congregation Beth Israel and Congregation Or Chadash, Scottsdale. Jordy was a quiet spoken, gentle man who loved his family, friends and patients. He will be always remembered as a mensch. Funeral services 10:30 AM Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Congregation Beth Israel Ner Tamid, 6880 N. Green Bay Ave., Glendale. The family will receive friends from 9:45 AM until time of services. Interment Second Home Cemetery, 3705 S. 43rd St., Milwaukee. Contributions to the Milwaukee Jewish Day School, 6401 N. Santa Monica Blvd., Milwaukee, WI 53217 would be appreciated.
