Where do I begin?

Ed was full of fun and a loyal friend. If memory serves, we first met at Steuben Junior High and continued through our years at WHS. Football games, hanging around the Doodle on North and 47th(?), the Uptown theater, George's gas station, and so much more.

I have some photos of Ed and the guys (and gals) from parties and our Senior Prom with King Irv on the throne and the dinner at the Saxony and party afterwards in Donna Stauff's basement rec room, us handsome YOUNG guys in our Graduation Day gowns. WOW! Where have these 57-1/2 years gone!?!?!

If anyone would like to see these photos from my little Brownie Hawkeye camera (remember these?), send me an Email at george35ball@gmail.com Here are the names of some of the boys an girls shown: Weber, Henske, Dahnke, Pinnow, Ralph Erdman, Jerold and Jerome Berman, Dave Sakura, John Roberts [1955], Kjos, George Goes [remember Bob?!], Judy Hurley, Barbara Stanelle (dec.), Barbara Slipper, Millie Schaut [1955], Marge Polenz, Judy Podges [1955], Karen Javers [1955], Janis Reber, Clarence Weisflog, King Irv Arbiture & Queen Jackie Ruben, Howard Yanke, Lorraine Schaefer, Mickey Bell [1956], Eileen Kurtz, Tom Swan, Dick Harmon [Harmon], Dick Eisenberg (or was it Russ?).

Last time we saw Ed was at our 50th Reunion in Fall 2003. It was great being with him and Dorothy and many of our classmates. We'll miss him at the 100th WHS Gala this October! But we'll remember Ed along with too many other classmates/friends who passed away way too early in life. God speed, '54ers! But we will see the rest of you in October!
