Arnold Siegel - Class Of 1954

Arnold Siegel 69, of Indianapolis, Died Thursday December 29 after a long and valiant battle with lung cancer. Arnold was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he spent his childhood, he served in the U.S. Air Force, attended the University of Wisconsin and worked for the Boston Store. In 1974 the family moved to Indianapolis where he served as president of L. Strauss Clothing Store. In 1977 he and his wife Toby Purchased Hudson's Mens Store renaming it Arnold's Mens Store for which he was the proprietor until his retirement in 2002. He is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, Toby Bornstein Siegel, his sons, Craig (Jennifer); Jim (Wendy); and Dan (Suzanne) He is also survived by his grandchildren who, collectively, were the light of his life: Levi, 11; Rose, 10; Garrett, 9; Lilly, 8; Sylvie, 7; Max, 6; Josie, 4; Claudia, 4; Charlie, 4; and soon to be born child of Jennifer and Craig. He will be missed by his family and friends who loved him dearly. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 2, at Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Mortuary. At 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Beth-El Zedeck North Cemetery.
