Steiner, Myra Shaiken Passed away peacefully on September 16, 2013. Born December 15, 1935. Beloved mother of Roberta (Robert Steuer) Steiner and Dr. Robert (Sandra Ann Matthews Steiner) Steiner. Loving grandmother of Alexandra, Elizabeth, Leo and Hugh Steiner. Also survived by her brother, Dr. Eugene (Bonnie) Shaiken, nephews Adam and Joseph Shaiken and nieces, Julie Lovestock and Molly Shaiken. Preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Joseph and Rose Shaiken and her sister, Vida Eisenberg. Myra earned her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees after her children were grown and worked for more than 20 years as a geriatric social worker. She shared her unconditional love and concern with her family, friends, clients and colleagues. Her beautiful smile and tenderness will be sorely missed. Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Friday, September 20, 2013 at Congregation Sinai at 8223 N. Port Washington Road, Fox Point, WI 53217. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery located at 166 S. Hawley Court, Milwaukee, WI 53214.
