Asher Cornfield - Class Of 1952

Cornfield, Asher Lipman Marcus, M.D. Age 72. Expired on Sept. 15, 2006 in Kafar Saba, Israel, after a battle with cancer. He was a graduate of Washington High School in 1952. He graduated University of Wisconsin in 1956 with a bachelor's degree and a medical degree in 1959. He was in general practice of medicine in Milwaukee from 1960-1996 after an internship at Mount Sinai Hospital. He was married to Joan (nee Goodman) in June 1959, who survives him. He is survived by 4 children, Stewart Cornfield, Sharon (Uzi) Marilus, Laura Cornfield and Marissa (Richard) Stadtmauer. He is further survived by grandchildren, Joav, Etai, Ethan, Juliana, Matthew, Alexander and Kobe. He is also survived by his brother Jerome Cornfield, sister Esther (Fred) Wiviott, Rose (Stanley) Sosowsky. He is also further survived by numerous nephews and nieces. Contributions are requested to Temple Beth Israel or to a charity of your choice.
