Gerald R. “Jerry” Friebert

Passed peacefully on October 5th, 2017 after a courageous battle with ALS at the age of 83.

Beloved husband of Sherry Friebert (nee Klein) for 52 wonderful years. Cherished father of Lori (Charles) Grausz, Lisa (Robert) Pack, and Stacy (Michael Fritz) Friebert. Dear grandfather of Benjamin and Noah Grausz; Joshua, Evan and Rachel Pack. Loving brother and brother-in-law of Marvin (Annette) Friebert, the late Robert (Susan) Friebert, Bruce (the late Patricia) Klein, and Larry (Nancy) Klein. Further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

The family would like to thank the ALS team at Froedert Hospital; his devoted caregiver, Jessica Frye; and the staff at Horizon-Lawlis Family Hospice for the dignified, loving and compassionate support given to Jerry and his family.

Funeral services Sunday, October 8th at 12:00 PM at the funeral home, 4750 North Santa Monica Boulevard, Whitefish Bay. Burial to follow at Second Home Cemetery, 3705 South 43rd Street, Milwaukee.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made to the ALS Association, Wisconsin Chapter would be greatly appreciated.
