F. John "Jack" Evert 
(December 17, 1930 - January 8, 2017) 

Passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, January 8, 2017, age 86 years. Devoted husband of 60 years to Carol J. Evert (nee Jarchow). Loving father of Nancy Slinskey and Wendy (Darren) Picard. Special grandpa to Lauren and Kaylin Slinskey. Son of the late Fred J. Evert, Sr. and LaVerne Evert. Special brother of Darrell (Marianne) and Michael (Diane) Evert. Also survived by other relatives and friends. Jack retired in 1989 after 38 years of service with AT&T. He was a life member of AT&T Pioneers. He graduated from Washington High School, attended Marquette University and Milwaukee School of Engineering. 


Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at ST. PAUL'S EV. LUTH. CHURCH (8080 N. 47th St., Brown Deer, WI, 53223) from 9:30am - 11:00am with a Service at 11:00am, Pastor Dave Paape officiating. Interment to follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, Memorials to St. Paul's Lutheran Church appreciated. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Silverado Memory Care, Menomonee Falls, and Seasons Hospice for their exceptional care to Jack.
