Anthony Ubl - Class Of 1948 VIEW PROFILE

Ubl, Anthony R. "Tony" Was called home by our Lord on August 9th at the age of 87 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Milwaukee, WI and graduated from Washington High School. He began his career in the Warner movie theaters in Milwaukee as an usher, working his way up to theater manager while in his early 20's. In the early 1950's Tony's career path transitioned to the food industry where his work spanned several decades, notably as General Sales Manager at Patrick Cudahy and later as Director of Purchases at Becker Foods. In 1951, Tony married Joanne Jacoby, the love of his life. They celebrated 66 happy years of marriage this past July. Tony and Joanne were longtime residents of Greendale, WI and long-term members of St. Alphonsus Parish. Tony was an avid sportsman, enjoying hunting and fishing, and he passed down his love and respect for the great Wisconsin outdoors to his sons. Tony was loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife Joanne; sons Gregory (Susan), Alan (Judith), and Jeffrey (Doreen); grandson Samuel (Kristie); great-grandchildren Adelaide and Camden; brother Jack and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anton and Caroline, sister Lorraine, and brother Raymond. A special thank you to the staff at Brenwood Park Assissted Living for their compassionate and loving care. Tony will live on in our hearts forever. Services will be held at a future date.
