Carol Mae Kruger

Brookfield - (nee Keller) Born to Eternal Life, Sunday, March 6, 2022. Age 92. Beloved wife of the late James T. Kruger who preceded her in death November 10, 1999. Dear mother of Nancy (the late Daryl) Drew and Karen Kruger. Loving grandmother of Christopher, Michael and Daniel. Dear sister-in-law of Carla Keller. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her sister, Marjorie Stauber and her brother, Dr. William Keller.

Visitation Wednesday March 16, 2022 from 10:00am until Time of Service at 11:00am at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, 10121 W. North Avenue, Wauwatosa. Interment Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield. Memorials to the Family appreciated.

Carol was born in Milwaukee on June 18, 1929 to Elmer and Margaret Keller. She graduated from Washington High School in 1947. She attended both UW-Madison along with UW-Milwaukee and worked as a rate clerk for the Milwaukee Road. Carol was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star-McKinley/Wauwatosa Chapter and met her future husband, Jim at a DeMolay Ball. Carol and Jim were married on September 3, 1955 and spent 44 wonderful years together. They loved traveling the world to destinations such as Europe and Russia and enjoyed taking Cruises. She was a founding member of Redemption Lutheran Church and remained a steadfast member until her passing. Carol will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
