Jean Lois Behnke

West Bend -

(Nee Tomeoni) died Thurs. Jan. 13, 2022 at age 93. She was the only child of Romeo and Hazel (nee Baerman) Tomeoni of Milw. WI. Attended Washington H.S. and MST College. She taught kindergarten for MPS for over 30 years, primarily at Clara Barton School.

She is survived by her three children, Glenn (Sue) Behnke, Donn (Cheryl) Behnke, and Lynn (John) Duwell; six granddaughters; and five great grandchildren, one of which was born 15 hours after her passing. She leaves behind cousins, travel buddies Agnes and Betty, and countless friends.

Jean's enthusiastic spirit that will be missed.

Memorials to The Comm. Foundation of Central WI Behnke Scholarship, West Bend Woman's Club, or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

Memorial service will be Sat. Mar. 5, 2022 at 12:00 pm (noon) at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church (809 S 6th Ave. West Bend, WI 53095). Visitation at church Sat. from 10:00 am until 11:45 am. Burial will be in Pinelawn Memorial Park in Milw.
