Joseph Rubin
Passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his family on June 17, 2016 at the age of 89. He is survived by his loving wife Audrey Rubin (nee Mindell); his children, Richard (Nancy) Rubin and Lanie (Joel) Kosberg; and grandsons, Scott and Steven Rubin.
Joe was an avid golfer and card player. He graduated from Milwaukee’s Washington High School where he earned five letters. Joe proudly served his country as a radio man in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He attended University of Wisconsin graduating with a BBA. He owned and managed apartment complexes in Milwaukee and Wauwatosa.
Graveside service, open to the public, Monday, June 20th at 10:00 AM at Second Home Cemetery, 3705 S. 43rd St., Milwaukee. Luncheon to follow at Congregation Shalom, 7630 N. Santa Monica Blvd., Fox Point. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made to the charity of your choice appreciated.
