Jacqueline Jarr Obituary

Jarr, Jacqueline (1924-2015)

Jacqueline (Jackie) Jarr was called to heaven by our Lord Jesus on August 20, 2015, at the age of 90. She had been a resident at Pine Haven Christian Home since March. She was preceded in death by her beloved son Jerry in 2010. She was born in Milwaukee, the only daughter of George and Mabel Speers. She graduated from Washington High School. She met her husband Don when they were 15. They were married June 11, 1946 after he returned from World War II. They lived and raised their family in Milwaukee.

She was a loving wife and mother and was happiest being with her children and her grandchildren. She loved their annual picnics at Regner Park in West Bend. She loved to golf and also make afghans for her children. She was an avid reader. You would never see her without her string of pearls. Her "grand dog" Zoe made her so happy. Jackie was a gift to anyone who met her and she will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her loving husband, Don of 69 years. Also her four children: Donna (Joe) Michalowitz, Rose Jarr, Sandy Taylor and Kevin, David (Pat) Jarr. Also grandchildren: Andy (Rebecca) Michalowitz and Kelly Michalowitz, Sara Jarr, Jake (Cameron) Jarr, Shane (Missi) Taylor, Garet Taylor and Lance (Lisa) Taylor and Alex and Kaitlyn Jarr. Further survived by four great-grandsons: Jack, Darwin, Brady and Mason and many relatives and friends.

Following Jackie's wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends and family may attend visitation at Mother of Good Counsel Church at 6924 W Lisbon Ave., Milwaukee, on Thursday morning (August 27, 2015) from 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. followed by a memorial mass of Christian burial at 11:00 A.M.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Jackie's name.

The Suchon Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Plymouth is serving the family. For online condolences, please visit www.suchonfh.com
