Larkey, Dr. Jay February 14, 2016, age 93, of Fox Point. Preceded in death by wife Hinda Chancer Larkey and son Dr. Hirsh Larkey. Loving husband of Lois Malawsky. Cherished father of Cindy (Joel) Hershkowitz, Dr. Deborah (Jack Harris) Larkey, and step-son Steven Malawsky. Dear brother of Seema (the late Sherwood) Gorens. Caring grandfather of Rachel, Basha and Lainie Harris; Eliana Larkey; Avi and Adina Hershkowitz. Adoring uncle of Nancy, Julie, Linda and their families. Further survived by many relatives and friends. Special thanks to caregivers Marcy, Stephanie, Maggie, Elizabeth and Katelyn. Jay was a devoted OBGYN who brought over 5000 lives into the world. He was a progressive activist who dedicated his life to civil rights, the anti-war movement, women's health, social justice, and the betterment of the human race. Funeral services 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Congregation Sinai, 8223 N. Port Washington Rd., Fox Point. Interment Spring Hill Cemetery, 166 S. Hawley Ct., Milwaukee.
