Robert F Pabst - Class Of 1941

 

Pabst, Robert F. "Bob" Went to his eternal rest on May 9, 2012. Preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Mae (nee Murray), and his parents Fred and Gertrude Pabst. He was 88 years old, born on December 27, 1923 in Milwaukee. As a member of the "greatest generation", Bob served in the Navy in World War II and was in several major combat actions in the South Pacific. He was a member of both the American Legion and the VFW. He graduated from Washington High School, Milwaukee in 1941. A journeyman tool & die maker, Bob worked at Allen-Bradley for 33 years. In his spare time he enjoyed playing the piano and writing his own compositions. He was also an accomplished woodworker and made furniture and cabinets. Bob is survived by his sister, Elizabeth "Penny" Williams of Pewaukee; nieces, Carole (John) Brinkman and their son, Tom of Pewaukee and Nancy (Roland) Ryan and their son, Connor of Allenton, WI; nephew, James (Kathy Shields) Williams of Wauwatosa; other relatives and friends. Visitation at ST. TIMOTHY'S EPISCOPAL CHURCH, 4021 N. 90TH St., Sat., May 12, from 9:30-11AM. Resurrection Eucharist at 11AM. Entombment Wisconsin Memorial Park.
