Maryhelen S. Megna (nee Mueller) age 73 of Hartford passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2016 at the Hartford Aurora Hospital.
Mary was born on October 9, 1943 in Milwaukee, WI to Wiro and Helen (nee Geiger) Mueller. She was united in marriage to Phillip “Luke” A. Megna Jr. on June 5, 1971 at St. Anne’s Church in Milwaukee, WI.
Mary loved spending time with family and friends as well as cheering on the Packers, Brewers, and Badgers. She enjoyed playing cards, shopping and especially spoiling her grandnieces and grandnephews.
Mary is survived by her brother, Robert Mueller; sisters- in-law, Janet and Karen Mueller; sister-in-law, Josephine (K.C.) Graun; brother-in-law, Tony (Barbara) Megna and dear family friend, Cheryl Herzog. She is further survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, numerous relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 35 years, Phillip; brothers, Russ (Susan), Joel, and Michael; sister, Judy; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth and Rose; brothers-in-law, John, Vincent "Jim", and Sam; nephews, Joseph, James, and Ronald Mueller; and other family and friends.
Funeral services for Mary will be held on Monday January 2 at 1:00 p.m. at the Shimon Funeral Home (824 Union Street Hartford, WI 53027) with Father Bill Pitcavage officiating. Family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Monday from 11-1 p.m.
Interment in St. Lawrence Cemetery, Hartford, WI.
