Choinsky, Donna C. (Nee Deverse ) Of Brookfield, age 73, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on August 28, 2016. She was born January 26, 1943, in Greensburg, PA, the daughter of the late Joseph Louis and Caroline Louise (nee Bell) Deverse. Donna attended St. Sebastian School, Steuben Jr. High School, Washington High School and was a graduate of Cardinal Stritch College. On May 11, 1963, she married Roger M. Choinsky and they celebrated 53 years of marriage this past May. She was an active member of the Baha'i Faith. Donna had many happy years working at the Health Hut in West Allis. Donna was the loving wife of Roger; devoted mom of Karen (Jeff), Christy (John) Schmalzer and David (Rebecca) Choinsky; cherished grandma of Claire Choinsky, Sicily Choinsky and Karen's children; dear sister of George (Barbara) Deverse, Deborah Riemer and Denise (Jonathan) Brown. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her niece Teresa. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, from 9:30 AM until the time of service at 11:30 AM at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1875 N. Calhoun Road, Brookfield. Interment will follow at Merton-Lisbon Union Cemetery located on the East side of Lake Five Drive, 1/2 mile North of Highway 74 (Silver Spring Drive). Maps will be provided. A memorial fund will be established to benefit Donna's favorite charities.
