Patricia Marie Glisper ("Pat, Aunt Pat, Patty Cake") was born to
the union of Ernest and Lillian (Owens) Glisper on July, 25, 1954 in
Milwaukee, WI. She attended Garfield Avenue School, LincolnHS and graduated from Washington
High School.
She accepted Christ as her personal Savior in mid - 70's and joined the Morris Memorial
Church of God in Christ under the Leadership of Pastor Garnett Herron for over a decade. She
served as Youth-Ushers & Girl Scouts Leader, Sunday School Teacher, and mentor to many young people. For many years. she sang with the Wisconsin Community Choir; traveled with the West Side Church of God In Christ choir and served on the Christian Business Alliance, Debutante Ball Boards.

Pat relocated to Euless, TX in 1985 and continued her career with INA/CIGNA Insurance
and joined the Heavenly Gospel Church of God In Christ, Fort Worth, TX under the leadership
of Pastor Floyd Taylor. For almost 20 years she served as Prayer Warrior, Pastor's Aide President's Assistant (Ma), Sunday School Teacher, and Sound Technician among having many other positions.

In 2003 she returned to the Midwest and resided in Illinois. Pat was employed at INA, CIGNA,
and finally Zurich Insurance Companies as a Policy Underwriter for over 30 years, retiring in 2015.
In 2008 she joined Village Church, YMI under the leadership of Pastor E. Ramona Owens
(cousin). Mother Glisper (Mo. Patty Cake) served as a Prayer Warrior, Women's Weekend
Coordinator, Member of Mother's Board and Entertainment Coordinator. She remained a faithful
member commuting from Belvidere, IL until her health no longer allowed her to travel.
Traveling was one of Pat's passions, one of her last trips was a cruise to Alaska. Her job
transferred her from Milwaukee, to Florida, to Texas, and finally she resided in Belvidere, IL for
the past 10 years. Pat made many friends throughout her moves and could find her directions
anywhere in those cities. Being an avid crafter she made and taught many projects to adults and
children alike. Her generosity towards others was insurmountable, that caring spirit was one of
Pat's finest qualities. Her wish was to live to go the "Owens Family Reunion" in August and she
made it! Pat was usually 1st to do anything, drive, move, skate backwards, and was a great cook.
Patricia Marie Glisper departed this life on November 23, 2016 after a lengthy illness and
