Rutley, Stephen Howard "Steve" Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at the age of 74 years. Steve was a proud Navy Veteran from 1962-1966. Steve was a retired Firefighter for the City of Brookfield Fire Department where he served for 28 years. Steve also started a painting business, Elmbrook Painting which he did for over 50 years. During Steve's retirement he enjoyed travelling with his wife Kathy all around the world, taking cruises and various land tours making memories for the past 20 years. Steve is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Kathleen (nee Kridler). Loving father of Michael (Lynn), Robert, and Richard (Erika). Proud grandpa of Jenna, Matthew, Maddax and Kiah. Dear brother of Jean Helmer. Brother-in-law of Charles (Maryan) Collison and Arlene (William) Deyarmen. Preceded in death by his parents Stephen and Eleanor and his brother John. Also loved by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home, Friday, January 12, 4-7:45PM. Funeral Service 8PM. Private interment Wisconsin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations in Steve's name appreciated to Elm Grove Lutheran Church.
