Donna Wichman

Bayside - (nee Horwitz) January 4, 2021, age 79. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Harvey Wichman. Dear mother of Marla (Bruce) Doffek, Mark (Susan) Wichman, Monette (Craig) Leva, Marni (Craig) Raben, and Matthew (Aree) Wichman. Loving grandmother of Josh (McKenzie), Benji, and Daniel Wichman; Ellee, Alex, Rachel, and Elihu Leva; Asher and Levi Raben; Blake, Charlie, Reid, and Emery Wichman.

It is with great sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of our incredibly loving mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, aunt, wife and friend, Donna Sue Wichman. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by all of her children after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. She will leave a legacy full of wonderful memories and valued lessons. She taught us all that there is a silver lining behind every storm cloud in life and that family always comes first. We find such comfort knowing that she is reunited with the love of her life, Harvey, waiting for her with a big smile (and a Bloody Mary)!!!

Throughout the course of her life, Donna touched so many people with her radiant smile and warmth. Everyone she met felt special, important, and loved. She saw the good in the world through a lens of undying optimism.

Together with Harvey for nearly 60 years, they built an incredible family with 5 children and 13 grandchildren. She taught us to appreciate the beauty in nature including flowers, birds, and sunsets. She will be greatly missed, but most definitely never forgotten. May her memory be a blessing that lives on within those she touched.
