Patricia Ann (Riddle) Fleischacker, 80, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2016. She was the widow of Robert Fleischacker, together they shared 45 years of marriage. Born in Milwaukee, WI she was the eldest daughter of Erna and Tom Riddle. She attended Washington High School, choosing to pursue her post-secondary education after raising their three children, she graduated from Alverno College in 1991. She worked for Wisconsin Bell for 20 years starting as an operator in Directory Assistance then working her way up in the company into Customer Service management. She lived the majority of her life in the Milwaukee area with Bob, raising their family in Waukesha. She moved to Lakeville, Minnesota two years after Bob’s death to be closer to her daughter and her family.

Together she and Bob shared their love of travel, experiencing Israel and Egypt, Hawaii and frequently visiting family and friends around the country. Later in life Pat traveled to Mexico and cruised the waters of Norway and Alaska with friends. A bigger football fan than Bob, for years they never missed a Badger home game. Before coming to Minnesota you would find her tending her garden, growing the most beautiful flowers and roses. In her retirement she filled her time with sewing and quilting, as well as learning the art of upholstery, making beautiful creations for her home and her family. She shared her gift for quilting with the St. John’s quilting group, she volunteered her time with the church and was an active member of the Friends of the Heritage Library.

By far the greatest joy of Pat’s life came from spending time with her six grandchildren. She loved to be the babysitter of choice, traveling to be there when the babies arrived, she was their greatest fan at games and matches and wore the dance studio gear with pride.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her parents, Erna and Tom; daughter, Cheryl; brother, Tom, and brothers-in-law Carl Altenburg Sr. and Ron Kent. She is survived by son, Robert (Shari) Fleischacker and grandchildren, Alec and Erica of Charlotte, NC; daughter, Lesley (John) Cornelisen; grandchildren, Timothy, Mitchell, David and Leeann of Lakeville and sisters, Margaret Kent and Eileen Altenburg, Joyce and Jon Bielefeld and their daughters Jenae, Jaclyn and Joana, and many nephews and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 11AM on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 20165 Heath Ave, Lakeville, MN 55044 with visitation one hour prior to the service.
