In Joan's younger days, she was a beautiful and classy lady!! Joan met John at a Sock-Hop-Dance in 1951, that building is now called The Rave. They were married in 1952. In 1953, they built a home in New Berlin. They raised 4 beautiful girls. She was a dog lover, raised whippets in the 60's. She owned horses her whole life, rode for pleasure and in the West Allis Western Days Parades. Enjoyed yearly family vacations to Florida & Arizona. Joan enjoyed clogging, line dancing, cross-word puzzles, card games, golf, gardening. Joan went to further her education in the early 80's and became a surgical tech for ear, nose & throat procedures at West Allis Memorial Hospital. She has 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She lost John in 1996. She met classmate Walter 'Wally' Domask at a class reunion and they became the best of friends! She lived in the same home that she built in 1953, until she was 80 years of age. In July of 2016, she turned 84. To this day...Joan is still smart, witty and funny!!
